Enhancing science instruction in the elementary schools

Abstract

This article describes some collaborative activities of the authors, aimed at\nimproving science education in elementary schools. These include curriculum\nenhancement, development of new apparatus (a wind tunnel), science-education\nweb site contributions and production of a film about the physics of flight.\nThe output of these projects is intended to be generally accessible or\nreproducible.\n
