Spectroellipsometric Investigation of PbI2 Single Crystals

Abstract

Abstract The complex dielectric and optical constants of PbI 2 single crystals are determined in the spectral range 240 to 630 nm by ellipsometric measurements for the first time. The calculated derivatives of the dielectric functions with respect to energy are consistent with the energy band structure of PbI 2 reported in the literature.
