Year: 1977 Journal:   Russian Chemical Reviews Vol: 46 (1)Pages: 16-26   Publisher: Institute of Physics

Abstract

The most important literature data concerning the mechanism of the adsorption of SO2 and the influence of oxygen and water vapour on the latter are described systematically and analysed. The possible types of interaction between the components of the gaseous mixture and the surface of the carbonaceous adsorbent are discussed. The bibliography includes 112 references.
