A 26 to 40 GHz wideband feedback amplifier using 0.18 μm CMOS

Abstract

A 4-stage, Ka-band amplifier employing frequency controlled feedback with parasitic cancellation is presented. A novel gain response superposition concept is adopted to achieve a predicted flat gain of 17.2 dB ±0.8 dB over the entire waveguide band using 0.18 μm CMOS technology.
