Abstract

Abstract The synthesis and characterization of (Me 3 Si) 2 AsCH 2 RCH 2 As(SiMe 3 ) 2 [R = CH 2 ( 1 ), SiMe 2 ( 2 )] is described. Compound 1 reacts with four equivalents of Ph 2 GaCl to produce (3), whose structure was deduced by use of 1 H and 13 C{ 1 H} NMR spectroscopy.
