Synthesis of carboxymethyl chitin benzylidenehydrazides

Abstract

Carboxymethyl chitin benzylidenehydrazides were synthesized, and conditions of their analysis were found. The effect of substituent in the benzene ring of the aldehyde on the number of benzylidene groups introduced into the polymer was determined.
