Abstract

Abstract The results of investigation of high hydrostatic pressure effect on the temperature of ferroelectric phase transitions in Sn2P2S6 crystal and solid solutions on its base, and also on Sn2P2S6 melting temperature are presented. The equations for determination of the temperature of ferroelectric phase transitions in these materials have been obtained. The pressures determined by the p(x, y) plane equation have been found, that induce the splitting of the phase transition lines in (PbySn1−y)2P2(SexS1−x)6 five-component crystals of ferroelectric solid solutions of substitution. The temperature hypersurface of TLT[PL(xL, yL)] points at which the splitting occurs (Lifshits hypersurface) has been established.
