Abstract

Abstract The polarized infrared reflectivity of incommensurate ferroelectric Rb2CoCl4 has been measured and evaluated in all crystal phases. Many sharp modes occur in the low temperature phase below 66 K in agreement with additional multiplication of the unit cell volume and lowering of the symmetry.
