Abstract
Abstract Cp o 2 ZrCl 2 ( Cp o = η 5 -C 5 Me 4 Et) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P 2 1 / n (No. 14) ( T = 298 K) with a = 8.477(4), b = 18.280(7), c = 14.372(7) Å, β = 92.88(7)°, V = 2224.3 Å 3 and Z = 4. The refinement gives final R values R = 0.039 and R w = 0.039 for 3860 observed symmetry-independent reflections. The Zr atom is tetrahedrally coordinated by two Cp o ligands and two chloro ligands. The Cp o ligands adopt a staggered conformation.
