Abstract
A series of new ansa-zirconocene dichloride compounds [PR(C 5 H 4 ) 2 ZrCl 2 ; R = Me (5), Et (6), i Pr (7), t Bu (8)] with phosphorus as bridging atom between the cyclopentadienyl rings have been prepared, isolated, and characterised by 1 H, 13 C, 31 P NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. The X-ray structure of 5 is reported.
