Abstract
Abstract A type of vertical alignment (VA) LCD shows a decrease in off‐axis image quality. Although it has been improved using super patterned VA (S‐PVA), its aperture ratio decreases. This letters reports the application of temporal division method (TDM) which is introduced to improve both off‐axis image quality and the aperture ratio.
