Application of multiuser detection techniques to impulse radio time hopping multiple access systems

Abstract

Multiple access ultra wideband (UWB) communications systems based on impulse radio have so far relied primarily on conventional matched filter techniques. This paper illustrates the nature of multiple access interference and the application of multiuser detection to improve the performance of impulse radio system.
