Abstract

The magnetoresistance of Sm1-xLaxS, Sm1-xYxS and SmS1-xAsx alloys has been measured at 4.2 K and 1.5 K in fields up to 180 Koe. Different behaviours are observed depending on whether or not Kondo centers are present and wether semiconducting or metallic phases occur.
