Abstract

The ultrasound is used as a therapeutic agent to tr eat diverse physical affections, taking advantage of the effects that it causes in torganism; these waves are generated by piezoelectric transducers from an peri odic signal originated by an ultrasonic waves generator, denominating to the co mplete generator-transducer set 'therapy equipment by ultrasound'. At the prese nt time these equipments allows the variation of four important parameters: treatment time, power intensity, wave frequency and wave application moda lity (continuous or pulsed).
