Abstract

Human rights are not a creation of modernity, has been evolving over the years and are fully effective on the strength of democracy. Note to seal the setback as a principle of ensuring the protection, domestic and international, for fundamental rights must always say that, and increasingly, add something new and better to the human being. Thus, the study of the subject seeks to evaluate the influence of the progressive political freedom that creeps over time, arising from the practice of democracy, in order to conclude whether this freedom was and is sufficient to eliminate or minimize the differences between men in respect of their fundamental rights, since the democratic system attached forms of political participation to sectors of the population who were always on the fringes of social interaction.
