Abstract
The title complex, (pentafluoropropionato){tris[2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl]phosphine}silver(I), [P(C6H4CH2NMe2-2)3]Ag[OC(O)CF2CF3] or [Ag(C3F5O2)(C27H36N3P)], possesses a tetracoordinated silver(I) ion, with silver in a distorted tetrahedral environment. In the solid state, two independent molecules are found in the asymmetric unit. The P(C6H4CH2NMe2-2)3 group acts as a tripodal ligand.
