Planar potentiometric sensors based on carbon materials for determination of sodium dodecyl sulfate

Abstract

The main electroanalytical characteristics of potentiometric planar sensors made by screen printing are determined in solutions of an anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The effect of the current lead material, composition of carbon ink (carbon type and concentration, plastifier, solvent, electroactive compound) on the analytical signal of planar sensors in SDS solutions are studied; the optimum conditions of their operations are found.
