Abstract

T he e˜ects of v apour absorption on positron annihi lati on in cross-link ed p olymer w ere investi gated.C ontrary to linear polymers, absorption of v ap our in cross-link ed resin leads to the shortening of o -Ps lif etime.I n vacuum absorb ed molecules di˜use out.A t ro om temp erature desorption of hexane and hexanol is not complete ; full elimin atio n of absorb ed molecules re quires sample temp erature increase.
