Quelques Exemples De Sommaires Proleptiques Dans Les Récits Bibliques

Abstract

After these events, God put Abraham to the test. H. Gunkel had already noticed that this property connnu half-verse in Genesis is a sort of title; He gives two examples of the same phenomenon (Gen. xviii of the appearance of YHWH to Abraham the oaks of Mamre, and the 2 R. ii, the ascension of Elijah). In these cases troix, the narrator provides a few words to his readers' essential information on the story. This process, which one calls 'proleptic summary' is defined as a concise formula that anticipates and introduces subsequent narrative. It differs from the normal that summarizes a series of actions or events before moving on to the scene or the next episode, just like the summary that can enter into a narrative. This chapter answers the questions: do you find that preceded elsewhere, what kinds of stories, and why some accounts they adopt this strategy. Keywords: proleptic summary; Abraham; YHWH; Genesis
