Abstract

In this paper, Interactive Image Processing Software MSIMAGE is described. The software has been developed for Image Enhancement, Compression (Transformations) and Filtering (FIR & IIR) techniques. The main thrust is in developing a software which is interactive, efficient and user friendly, capable of giving insight to image processing to students in educational institutions.This interactive image processing software (MSIMAGE) is completely developed in FORTRAN IV (ANSI 77) language, and executed in a microcomputer.
