Abstract

Resumen: La organización de eventos enfrenta una presión creciente para ofrecer experiencias personalizadas, innovadoras y eficientes, lo que exige modelos de gestión más flexibles y centrados en el cliente. Las metodologías ágiles, particularmente Scrum, emergen como una respuesta estratégica a este entorno cambiante. Se adopta el marco Scrum como modelo de gestión iterativa, basado en ciclos de trabajo denominados sprints, roles especializados (Product Owner, Scrum Master y equipo de desarrollo) y artefactos de planificación que orientan la toma de decisiones y el control del proyecto. La aplicación de Scrum en la organización de eventos permite mejorar la coordinación del equipo, reducir errores, aumentar la capacidad de adaptación y asegurar que cada entrega responda a las expectativas del público y de los patrocinadores. El enfoque ágil fortalece la competitividad del sector de eventos al integrar innovación, retroalimentación continua y mejora organizacional, generando experiencias más memorables y sostenibles. Abstract: Event organization faces increasing pressure to deliver personalized, innovative, and efficient experiences, demanding more flexible and customer-centric management models. Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, are emerging as a strategic response to this changing environment. The Scrum framework is adopted as an iterative management model, based on work cycles called sprints, specialized roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, and development team), and planning artifacts that guide decision-making and project control. Applying Scrum to event organization improves team coordination, reduces errors, increases adaptability, and ensures that each deliverable meets the expectations of the audience and sponsors. The agile approach strengthens the competitiveness of the events sector by integrating innovation, continuous feedback, and organizational improvement, generating more memorable and sustainable experiences.
