This study explores finite-time average consensus in multi-agent systems with switching topologies under impulsive disturbances. Utilizing algebraic graph theory, finite-time stability theorems, and impulsive control theory, criteria for finite-time consensus in multi-agent systems are established. Additionally, the quiescent time affected by impulsive disturbances is estimated. The validity of these conclusions is demonstrated through a numerical example.Simulation results indicate that the number of impulsive disturbances, the connectivity of the algebraic topology, and the initial conditions of the system all influence the quiescent time.
