RETRACTED ARTICLE: A DFT Study on the Ir-decorated AlP nanosheets as chemical sensor for recognition of sulfonamide drug1

Abstract

Statement of Retraction: A DFT Study on the Ir-decorated AlP nanosheets as chemical sensor for recognition of sulfonamide drug We, the Editor and Publisher of Journal of Sulfur Chemistry have retracted the following article: Cao, Y., Aslanzadeh, S., Ebadi, A. G., Xu, N. Y., Issakhov, A., & Derakhshandeh, M. (2021). A DFT Study on the Ir-decorated AlP nanosheets as chemical sensor for recognition of sulfonamide drug1. Journal of Sulfur Chemistry, 43(2), 193–205. https://doi.org/10.1080/17415993.2021.1998504 Since publication, significant concerns have been raised about the integrity of the data and reported results in the article, as well as questions around the contributions of the authors. When approached for an explanation, the authors provided their data, however, review of the data confirmed that the concerns remained. As verifying the validity of published work is core to the integrity of the scholarly record, we are therefore retracting the article. The corresponding author listed in this publication has been informed. We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and the COPE guidelines. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
