Abstract

Nanocarbon reinforced lightweight metal composites have great potential for e.g. automotive and aeronautics application, however, the challenges are to develop a suitable manufacturing process and a good dispersion of nanocarbon in metal matrix. We have optimised the manufacturing parameters to improve dispersion of nanocarbon in matrix and the characterisation of such composites have also been investigated.
