Abstract

Two kinds of�C/C-UHTCs composites namely�C/C-ZrC-SiC and�C/C-HfC-ZrC-SiC composites�were prepared by PIP process using liquid ZrC/SiC and�HfC/ZrC/SiCprecursor.��The obtained�composites have good mechanical and excellent ablative properties�at ultra high temperature.
