Our paper, Enhancing Radiography Education Through Immersive Virtual Reality, explores the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) alongside traditional Siemens radiographic equipment in radiography education. It presents a comparative study of traditional and hybrid training models, demonstrating that VR-enhanced learning significantly improves student performance in radiographic positioning, room setup, and knowledge retention. The study, involving 165 first-year radiography students, provides strong statistical evidence that hybrid training methods lead to greater precision, efficiency, and cost savings in medical imaging education. The financial analysis highlights the scalability and sustainability of VR-based training, suggesting it as a viable alternative to conventional methods. Given the increasing demand for effective, immersive learning experiences in healthcare education, my research makes a valuable contribution to the field, supporting the adoption of VR as an essential component of radiography training.
