Abstract

A phenomenological tensorial pattern has been proposed to\ndescribe several thermomechanical behaviours of various materials [1-3]. The\nstudy presented here aims at checking whether the theory is effective in\nmodelling the thermomechanical features of the cyclic viscoelastoplastic\nbehaviour of metallic materials at high rates of strain. Several types of\nnumerical illustrations of the cyclic behaviour including relaxation and creep\nare proposed ; in order to suggest qualitatively that with the unique proposed\npattern, it is possible to take into account a cyclic behaviour at low strain\nrate as well as at high strain rate.
