This chapter explores the concept of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) as a strategic approach to promoting environmental sustainability within organizations. The chapter examines the theoretical foundations of GHRM, its key principles, and its potential benefits for organizations and the environment. It also highlights various strategies and initiatives that organizations can adopt to implement GHRM practices, such as green recruitment and selection, employee training and development, performance management, and employee engagement. Furthermore, the chapter explores the challenges and barriers that organizations may encounter in implementing GHRM and suggests recommendations to overcome them.
