Abstract

Proton-ligand stability constants of substituted ortho-hydroxyacetophenones and ortho-hydroxypropiophenones were determined at 30° by potentiometric method following Bjerrum Calvin titration technique and using a constant ionic strength, μ ~ 0.1M NaClO₄. Correlation between the nature and the position of the substituents in benzene nucleus is discussed.
