Translation develops the memory of the language learner, mobilizes all ideas in the field of language, increases vocabulary, and introduces various words. During translation, the idea expressed in a foreign language is analysed from a grammatical, linguistic, and stylistic point of view. It is known that each language has sufficient opportunities and means to translate any idea. Sometimes, students encounter expressions that are difficult to translate. There are even expressions that are funny when translated. In such cases, it is necessary to explain that such words and expressions should be memorized. Translation is given as an auxiliary teaching tool mainly in the system of exercises and is used to check the understanding of lexical material and grammatical phenomena by students. When using this method, work on books and writing mainly takes an important place in the lesson. One of the main issues that students face when translating is the translation of prepositions within a sentence, as well as infinitives, adverbs, and gerunds, as well as synonyms. The article shows proper ways of grammar translation method.
