Recent research has demonstrated that people respond to music in highly positive ways, with music exerting a significant influence on brain activity. It plays a vital role in enhancing mood, offering both entertainment and motivation to move forward. In today’s digital age, individuals often prefer listening to music that aligns with their current emotional state and personal preferences.This work focuses on developing a system that recommends songs to users based on their emotional state. The system employs computer vision components to detect and interpret facial expressions, thereby determining the user’s current emotion. Unlike traditional methods of mood-based music selection, which require manual input and interaction, this approach uses automated emotion recognition to streamline the process.By recognizing the user's facial expression, the system automatically suggests and plays music that corresponds to the detected emotion, saving users considerable time and effort typically spent on manually selecting songs.
