The purpose of this study is to examine vocational motives concerning the relationship with following three factors: achievement motive,in trinsic reward and feedback from learning about nursing science. Participants were 360 students nurses at nursing school. Results suggested that student nurses' vocational motives were self-improvement,interpersonal,and status motives,and that achievement motives and intrinsic reward influenced each vocational motive. These results indicated that it was important to set the environment for student nurses to get intrinsic rewards from learning.
