The\nsodium-ion battery (NIB) is promising for next-generation energy\nstorage systems. One promising anode material is titanium dioxide\n(TiO<sub>2</sub>). However, the sluggish sodiation/desodiation kinetics\nof TiO<sub>2</sub> hinders its application in NIBs. Herein, we converted\nTiO<sub>2</sub> into a two-dimensional (2D) TiO<sub>2</sub>/TiS<sub>2</sub> hybrid to improve its sodium storage capability. The 2D TiO<sub>2</sub>/TiS<sub>2</sub> hybrid nanosheet electrode provides high\nkinetics and excellent cycling performance for sodium-ion storage.\nThis work provides a promising strategy to develop 2D hybrid nanomaterials\nfor high-performance sodium storage devices.
