Abstract

Banks, with all the kinds of clients that they have to deal with, still use legacy technology. This is not good because all other sectors of industry have automated and used AI, enhancing efficiency and cutting fraud. The argument here is that banks have to modernize by adopting virtual assistants and AI/machine learning. By doing so, profitability, performance will be enhanced, and there will be lesser dependence on human intervention, hence making banking more efficient, accurate, and fast. This research paper examines the revolutionary potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the banking industry in recent years.it looks at how Artificial Intelligence (AI) may develop the banking industry. Although banks deal with enormous amounts of customer information and intricate processes, most still use legacy systems. The use of legacy systems leads to inefficiencies, raises the threat of fraud, and prevents offering customized customer experiences. This paper explores how AI, such as machine learning and virtual assistants, can transform banking operations. We examine the effect of AI on significant areas like fraud detection, risk management, customer service, and customized financial counseling. We also examine challenges and opportunities faced by AI deployment, such as data security, regulatory compliance, and ethics. The article contends that the adoption of AI is imperative for banks to stay competitive in the fastchanging financial environment, allowing them to enhance efficiency, lower costs, increase customer satisfaction, and spur innovation. Through case studies and examination of existing trends, we illustrate the substantial advantages of AI adoption and provide recommendations for effective integration strategies in the banking sector.
