Blue-Excitable–Green-Emitting\nOrganic Manganese\nHalides for White Light-Emitting Diodes

Abstract

The paper describes the synthesis of two manganese halide-based\norganic–inorganic hybrid materials that exhibit bright narrow-band\ngreen light emission. These materials are characterized by MnX4 tetrahedral inorganic functional units, which can be excited\nby blue light. The compounds have high internal quantum yields and\nexcellent thermal stability and could be used as phosphors in white\nLEDs, demonstrating their potential for use in advanced lighting and\ndisplay systems.
