Abstract

This article explores the concept of blockchain and its applications in customs operations, focusing on its ability to enhance efficiency, security, and transparency. The key features of blockchain, including decentralization, transparency, security, and immutability, are highlighted. The applications of blockchain in customs are discussed, including supply chain traceability, smart contracts, trade finance and payments, risk management and compliance, and intellectual property rights protection. The abstract concludes by emphasizing the transformative potential of blockchain in streamlining customs processes, mitigating risks, combating fraud, and fostering international trade with greater trust and efficiency
