DNA-Powered Stimuli-Responsive Single-Walled Carbon\nNanotube Junctions

Abstract

Reconfigurable stimuli-responsive\nmolecular materials play an important\nrole in the fabrication of nanoscale systems and devices. Here, we\nreport a bottom-up strategy for the reversible assembly of single-walled\ncarbon nanotube linear junctions in solution. The assembly/disassembly\nof the nanotubes can be controlled via the intrinsic responsiveness\nto different stimuli of sequence-specific deoxyribonucleic acid linkers\nforming the junctions.
