Abstract

The development of hyperbranched polymers is a rapidly expanding field in the area of macromolecular science. This short review highlights some of the notable examples in the synthesis of hyperbranched polymers and some of the key advances that have been made in the application of these hyperbranched materials in the areas of material property modifications and in high value technologies.
