AN IOT BASED INTELLIGENT SECURITY SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION FOR HOME AUTOMATION

Abstract

Nowadays technology governed home automation makes life more convenient and can also lead to bigger safety with Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as security cameras and systems. Almost all home automation devices are IoT devices, which can be connected to one another and these devices work with the communication protocols of Wifi, Bluetooth, etc. It’s very unpredictable, as what happens at our homes when we are not at home, or when we are outside and who is trying to access our homes without our consent and authorization. Occasionally, it becomes very difficult to save the lives of the victims, as it might take too long until someone notice the circumstance and informs to the police department. To overcome such difficulties, we propose this security system with the help of GSM technology and esp32 camera to identify the crime and inform to the concerned police department on time. The network will be connected through the GSM modem, which is connected to the Arduino Mega Board. The GSM will send the information which contains the location to the house owner/user, and then the house owner/user communicates with the police station and send the location to reach on time for further investigations. The proposed system contains Ultrasonic sensor and GSM modem connected to the Arduino Mega Board. Whenever an armed security camera detects motion, Ultrasonic sensor will send the signal to the Arduino Mega, and that will send an information to the house owner for further communications with the concerned departments. With the notion of this proposal, the required information may be passed to the house owner at no delay time to ensure safety of human lives.
