FAKE NEWS: INFLUÊNCIA NA SAÚDE MENTAL FRENTE À PANDEMIA DA COVID-19

Abstract

Since the advent of the technologies and increasing use of internet and social networks the interaction between people and the production as well as the sharing of information have been new possibilities. This phenomenon has brought a series of positive results but also concerns such as the case of Fake News. This essay aims to disclose the impacts that the dissemination of fake news for society, affecting mainly mental health and psychological well-being of people. Although some actions have been implemented to combat this situation, they are supposed to be done in an appropriate and responsible manner. In this sense, attention must be paid to the importance of the role of educational actions that promote effective behavioral changes.
