Abstract

Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) have never been observed with photoluminescence-related properties. By dispersing MWNTs in PEEK polymer, our MWNT/PEEK nanocomposite contains individualized MWNTs and exhibits unusual photoluminescence; further investigation has been carried out to study the underlying mechanism.
