Year: 2002 Journal:   Springer Link (Chiba Institute of Technology)   Publisher: Chiba Institute of Technology

Abstract

\n \nThe spectroscopic properties in the FIR-mm range of analogue materials for\ninterstellar refractory grains, such as silicates and carbon material, are\nreviewed. The mechanisms which determine the absorption and its dependence on\ncomposition, structure and temperature are discussed.\n\n
