Janus-Core and Shell Microfibers

Abstract

Janus microcylinders composed of\ndifferent polymers were prepared\nthrough coaxial co-jetting with dual-core flows, followed by cross-linking,\nmicrosectioning, and shell removal. Uniquely shaped building blocks\ncan be fabricated by photo-patterning of one hemisphere of the microcylinders.
