FacebookAgent - an Agent-Enhanced Social (Mobile) Network Application.

Abstract

Abstract: Over the past years, a new kind of understanding and utilization of Internet services has emerged. People successfully form online communities and contribute actively. Facebook is one example for such an online social network (OSN) which has attracted millions of Internet users within a very short time period. In this paper we follow the idea to expand the virtual world spanned by OSNs into the user’s real world. To achieve this goal, we apply the mobile agent paradigm as a connector concept to strengthen the integration of users. As an example for OSNs we rely on Facebook. 1
