Industrial wastewater Recovery and Reuse

Abstract

Industry is at present providing limited treatment to its wastewater streams before returning the water to the general water System. This procedure is fast becoming unacceptable. With some added treatment steps, these streams could be considered for reuse by these industries. Many are now recycling portions of their treated effluent, and others are considering the possibility.
