Teaching practices of teachers who teach Mathematics in favor of their students' learning are constant, although sometimes they encounter directives from superiors or educational systems that hinder this process. In this context, a concept has been gaining notoriety both nationally and internationally in Mathematics Education: creative insubordination. The aim of this work is to analyze how literature addresses creative insubordination in Mathematics Education. This research gathers works published in journals between the years 2019 and 2023, using databases such as CAPES Journal Portal, Google Scholar, Scielo and Scopus, through a systematic literature review. Based on the results, the concept of creative insubordination is primarily used in research from the southeastern region of Brazil and is characterized as an action of resistance, rupture, opposition, disobedience, and autonomy, for the benefit of Mathematics learning.
