The mission of religious moderation must be able to create a common perception of all religious people that the commitment to maintain the unity of the country is part of practicing religious teachings. Every individual regardless of religion, ethnicity, and race has an obligation as a citizen to maintain a harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous state situation. Perceptions and attitudes that prioritize the basic benefit of the people rather than personal interests or groups must always be instilled and strengthened in everyone. This research aims to prove the implementation of strengthening religious moderation in the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bengkulu City. The study used a qualitative-descriptive approach with interview and observation data collection techniques. The data were analyzed by description method by exploring the theory used as the basis for analysis then conceptualizing the implementation strategy of strengthening religious moderation that has been carried out by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bengkulu City using the stages of the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that strengthening religious moderation is currently very important and efforts to do so have been made by following the concept map of the Central Ministry of Religious Affairs. There is no specific strategy in strengthening religious moderation in Bengkulu City. Preventive efforts and internal strengthening are mainstay strategies that will always be carried out to prevent radical understanding.
