Abstrat Love is defined as the response controlled by the brain in reaction to romantic thoughts and emotions, of physical and sexual attraction and attachment, generated by a connection of intense positive emotion and directed towards a desire for reciprocity. This essay intends to review the conceptual foundations inherent to the neuropsychology of love from the paradigmatic perspective of social neurosciences. Therefore, relational concepts such as: psychology and neuropsychology of emotions, falling in love, chemistry of love and falling out of love are addressed. Love is an emotional process that, in his understanding, entails multidimensional contributions, multiparadigmatic language, complex thought and, in definitively, divergent gaze.
