Synergistic coordination-driven ratiometric fluorescence detection of the anthrax biomarker dipicolinic acid

Abstract

A novel ratiometric fluorescent nanoprobe was developed for the detection of the anthrax biomarker dipicolinic acid (DPA) in complex environments and on actual spores, based on the synergistic coordination of a terpyridine derivative and ZIF-8.
