Penguatan adaptasi teknologi bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar di Banjarmasin

Abstract

Pentingnya peran teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini tidak dapat disangkal. Namun, hanya 40% guru non-TIK yang siap dengan teknologi, menurut Pustekkom Kemendikbud. Adaptasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi keharusan untuk membantu guru berinovasi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yang efektif. Guru-guru perlu dibekali dengan banyak kemampuan untuk mengembangkan diri, agar mampu beradaptasi dengan berbagai kondisi, termasuk adaptasi teknologi. Salah satu indikator guru bisa berdaptasi dengan teknologi yang berkembang atau sedang trend di dunia pendidikan saat ini adalah ketika guru dapat melek teknologi yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk inovasi media pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru Sekolah Dasar di Banjarmasin dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Tempat pelaksanaan di SDN Pelambuan 4 Banjarmasin. Waktu pelaksanaan pada 4-6 Desember 2024. Melalui pelatihan yang intensif, para guru diperkenalkan pada tiga platform populer, yaitu Google Forms, Quizizz, dan Canva. Pelatihan ini mencakup materi tentang cara membuat kuis interaktif, desain materi pembelajaran yang menarik, serta mengelola data siswa secara efektif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengoperasikan ketiga platform tersebut. Diharapkan dengan peningkatan kompetensi ini, kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dapat ditingkatkan. Strengthening technology adaptation for elementary school teachers in Banjarmasin Abstract: The important role of technology in the world of education today cannot be denied. However, only 40% of non-ICT teachers are ready with technology, according to the Ministry of Education and Culture's Pustekkom. Adapting technology in learning is a necessity to help teachers innovate in developing effective learning media. Teachers need to be equipped with many abilities to develop themselves, to be able to adapt to various conditions, including technological adaptation. One indicator that teachers can adapt to technology that is developing or is currently trending in the world of education is when teachers can be technologically literate, which is realized in the form of learning media innovation. This community service activity aims to increase the competency of elementary school teachers in Banjarmasin in utilizing digital technology in the learning process. The implementation location is at SDN Pelambuan 4 Banjarmasin. Implementation time is 4-6 December 2024. Through intensive training, teachers are introduced to three popular platforms, namely Google Forms, Quizizz, and Canva. This training includes material on how to create interactive quizzes, design interesting learning materials, and manage student data effectively. The evaluation results show a significant increase in teachers' knowledge and skills in operating the three platforms. It is hoped that by increasing this competency, the quality of learning in elementary schools can be improved.
